Management approach

In our management approach, we take a holistic view and take our own production plants, suppliers, co-producers and the intended use of our products by consumers into account. Food safety and quality are a part of the codes of practice at all our production sites. Our factories all have traceability systems in place.

Product safety & quality is managed by three departments in the organisation. Firstly, the Quality Assurance department under leadership of the QA director; this department takes care of clients’ questions about quality, and measures quality in a range of indicators. The QA director answers directly to the CEO. Secondly, per production location, there are QESH (Quality, Environment, Safety, Health) departments taking care of implementing and maintaining quality systems. Thirdly, the food safety of the raw materials (potatoes) is managed by the Potato department.
